Ira received his Juris Doctor from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley in 1977. He specializes in business bankruptcy law and litigation in both state and federal courts. Ira has substantial experience in the representation of debtors-in-possession, creditors, and creditors' committees in all aspects of chapter 11 bankruptcy cases as well as in receiverships, out-of-court workouts, assignments for the benefit of creditors, real property and UCC foreclosures, partnership disputes and general business and commercial litigation. Ira has been recognized by his peers as both an “AV” rated lawyer and a Southern California bankruptcy “Super Lawyer” for many years...

At age 19, he graduated from UCLA (B.A. in Political Science, Cum Laude, 1974) and thereafter graduated from Loyola Law School (J.D. 1978) where he was awarded the Loyola Law School Scholarship "because of marked excellence in the study of law." Gregory has been rated as an AV lawyer for the past 30 years. Emphasizing real estate, business, trusts and estates in his law practice, Gregory has also served as an expert witness and consultant to the F.B.I. in cases involving real estate fraud. He has served as a faculty member for the American Law Institute - Continuing Legal Education (formerly "ALI-ABA"). He has also served as special trial counsel to the Public Administrator of the County of Los Angeles and as a judge pro tem in the Los Angeles Superior Court.Serving also as an arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Bar Association and as a member of the Board of Directors of the William H. Parker Los Angeles Police Foundation, Gregory is very active in our legal community...
